四川省重点建设项目之一的江口水电站,第一台机组已于1991年4月12日正式并网发电。该电站于1987年11月10日正式动工兴建。现已完成全部土石方开挖约41万m~3;浇筑混凝土22.6万m~3,为设计总量的90％;浆砌条、块石约14.3万m~3,为设计总量的95％;安装工程约完成总工程量的70％,其中第一台机组于1990年底安装结束(因蓄水等条件所限,试运行推迟到1991年3月才进行),第二、三台机组目前正在安装,可分别在今年6月和8月底前安装结束。
