在关于朝鲜战争的研究中 ,人们一般认为 ,在战争爆发之前 ,美国对台湾已经实行了“撒手”政策 ,如果不是朝鲜战争的爆发 ,美国将会坐视中国收复台湾的军事行动而不予干涉 ,台湾的历史就会是另外一番面貌了。然而本文通过大量的材料试图证明 ,在 50年代美国的对华战略中 ,台湾是用来与中共进行讨价还价的重要手段和筹码 ,无论有没有朝鲜战争 ,美国都需要把台湾纳入自己的战略防御圈。朝鲜战争的爆发恰好给华盛顿的干涉提供了借口
In the study on the Korean War, it was generally believed that before the war broke out, the United States had already implemented the policy of “letting go” toward Taiwan. If not, it would not interfere with China’s recovery of Taiwan’s military operations unless it was an outbreak of the Korean War. Taiwan’s history will be another look. However, through a great deal of material, this article attempts to prove that Taiwan was an important means and means of bargaining with the Chinese in the U.S. strategy against China in the 1950s.
