近读张爱玲的散文遗著《异乡记》,让我讶异。因为我印象中,张爱玲出身于贵族簪缨之家,又久居上海,写她熟悉的都市人生活自不在话下,没想她写乡村也这么到位,这么精准。如写乡村看戏,乡村结婚,乡村茶馆饭店,乡村汽车,乃至乡村如厕,那描绘之逼真,想象之丰富,让人叹服。如乡村杀猪的情景,被宰后的猪嚎叫着“最后咕噜一声,像是老年人的叹息,表示这班人是无理可喻的”;描述褪了毛的猪脸,从水桶里“整个地露出
I am surprised to read the essay by Zhang Ailing surviving ”Alienation“.
