When the words “Sea of Death,” “Trekking,” “Adventure,” or “First Person,” were dropped into the web search engine, they “pulled away” one such name - Zong Tong Chang. Taklamakan, the largest desert in our country, Uyghur means “going in and going out” and Western explorers calling it “the sea of death.” Nearly a hundred years, countless people try to cross the success of a handful; and 39 degrees north latitude, Taklamakan duck shape along the long axis, along it to complete the walk through, it is unprecedented. On January 23, 2004, Zong Tongchang and All-Japan Adventure Association, CYTS and a group of pedestrians set off along this line. After 73 days, as the only hiker, he created history. --editor
