大凡好的文章无不讲究开头,也无不重视结尾。因为漂亮的结尾能使文章增添光辉。关于文章结尾,古人有过很多好的看法。有的主张结尾要如“撞钟”,“清音有余”;有的主张要如“豹尾”,“响亮有力”;还有的说应如“临去秋波那一转”,“令人消魂欲绝”,等等,不一而足,这充分说明文章结尾之重要。新闻写作也应如此,美联社特派记者休·A·马利根就说过:“我常常在最后一段下的功夫比在第一段下的功夫大,因为我希望那真正动人的最后一行话将使编辑高抬贵手,不致砍杀我努力的成果。”通常新闻的结尾主要有这样几种写法:
