峥嵘岁月1926年1月,安徽首个由产业工人党员组成的党组织——中共蚌埠特别支部成立,开始领导蚌埠人民走上推翻国民党专制统治、夺取抗击外敌入侵、迎来翻身解放的非凡历程。土地革命战争时期,五河界沟支部等党组织相继建立,界沟被称为皖东北的“小延安”。1930年7月,石梁河农民暴动在五河爆发,皖东北地区第一支工农武装——红二军独立师宣告成立。1930年10月,中共长淮特委在蚌埠成立,蚌埠成为领导沿淮十几个县党组织的指挥中心。
