狭义的插图,主要指以印刷为主要媒介的传统手绘书籍插图。现代插图的涵义已不仅仅是书籍插图了,人们在日常生活中接触到的形形色色的图形都被纳入插图的范畴。近年来从传统插图领域衍生并风起云涌的现代插画,无论其功能、设计手法、形式和风格都较传统插图丰富多彩,正在强势占领传统插图的主流地位。物质文明的飞速发展导致商业插图铺天盖地,软件的不断升级更为现代插画造就了出神入化的效果,现代插画正以锐不可挡之势占领着插图市场。在我国国内,传统插图因其特有的局限性而被边缘化了。
Narrow illustrations, mainly refers to the printing as the main medium of traditional hand-painted book illustrations. The meaning of modern illustrations is much more than the illustration of books. All kinds of figures that people encounter in their daily life are included in the scope of illustrations. In recent years, the modern illustration derived from the traditional field of illustration and surging has been dominated by the traditional illustration in terms of its function, design technique, form and style, all of which are more colorful than traditional illustrations. The rapid development of material civilization led to overwhelming commercial illustrations, software upgrades more modern illustrations created a superb effect, modern illustrations are occupied by the unstoppable trend of the illustration market. In our country, traditional illustrations have been marginalized for their unique limitations.
