According to statistics, in the first half of 2013, Xiamen exported 36 batches of argon gas to Taiwan with a total volume of 967,000 m3, an increase of 109.09% and 168.02% respectively over the same period of last year. High Purity Argon is widely used in smelting of metals, alloys, and stainless steels in aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding, atomic energy and machinery industries.
