山西省,因居太行山之西而得名。作为中华民族的发祥地之一,山西历史悠久,人文荟萃,拥有丰厚的历史文化遗产。迄今为止有文字记载的历史达三千年之久,素有“中国古代文化博物馆”之美称,还被誉为“华夏文明的摇篮”。5月14日至18日,结束了北京的会议行程,第二届台胞社团论坛山西参访嘉宾——来自海内外、岛内和港澳的台胞社团领袖及代表等一行46人,在全国台联副会长蔡世彦的陪同下,从北京出发,乘高铁来到了历史文化名城太原市,开始了为期5天的在山西省的参访考察活动。
