荔枝是我省水果中之“珍品”,其种植面积与产量居全国第二位。进入八十年代以来,荔枝在国内外市场上的需求量急剧上升;为此,我省除着重在闽南三角洲地带发展荔枝外,应当重视开发利用闽东沿海内海湾小气候条件,建立晚熟荔枝生产基地。 1987年6月份,省园艺学会组织有关人员赴闽东沿海考察果树生产,8月份又在福州召开“开发闽东沿海内海湾地区,发展亚热带果树的论证会”认为可在该地带建立晚熟的荔枝生产基地。现就有关问题提出若干粗浅看法,供商榷。
Litchi is the fruit of our province, “treasures”, its planting area and output ranks second in the country. Since the 1980s, the demand of litchi in domestic and overseas markets has risen sharply. Therefore, apart from focusing on the development of lychees in the Minnan Delta, the province should pay more attention to the development and utilization of the microclimate conditions in the hinterland of the coast of Fujian and to establish a late-maturing litchi production base . In June 1987, the Provincial Horticultural Society organized relevant personnel to inspect the production of fruit trees along the coast of Fujian Province. In August, it held again in Fuzhou a demonstration meeting on the development of subtropical fruit trees in the hinterland of Inner Mongolia along the coast of the east coast that late-maturing litchi Production base. We are now proposing some superficial views on the relevant issues for discussion.
