一、一般概述潮汐含有巨大能量,是有发展前途的动力资源之一。我国东南沿海一带河流受潮波影响很大,如长江潮波深入腹地芜湖。在河口三角洲内河流众多,向称鱼米之乡,惟一般田高水低,需要提水灌溉,鉴于电力、火力等抽水站投资大、成本高,目前向未普及,故创议发展潮力灌溉。1955年冬福建省农具试验厂在闽侯专署水利局的协作下,选定闽江下游的浚边村兴建了一个试验性的潮力水轮泵扬水站,至去年四月正式放水,迄今已运行一年半。
