Kahn等把胰岛素抵抗性综合征分为两型:A型具有脂肪萎缩性糖尿病的临床特征,血循环中单核细胞表面的胰岛素受体数量减少,但其结合力正常;B型好发于中年妇女,特点是对胰岛素有显著的抵抗性,常伴有黑棘皮病及类似结缔组织病的临床表现,患者血清中有阻止胰岛素与受体结合的抗体,这些抗体偶尔可激活胰岛素受体而引起低血糖。作者对B型胰岛素抵抗综合征的自身免疫情况作了深入研究。
