1935年下关年,天津《大公报》陆续刊登出一位特约通讯员的旅行通讯。这些来自荒僻大西北的报告,在全国引起很大反响,一时人们的目光投向了“中国的西北角”:红军,长征,黑暗的军阀统治,水深火热的人民生活,日本侵略者的狼子野心……。随着一篇篇生动通讯的发表,祖国神秘的大西北被展示在人们面前,件随而来的是一个名字——“长江”,引起了世人的瞩日。当他的这些通讯汇集成书,以《中国的西北角》为名出版后,短短的几个月中,就连续印刷七版。年仅二十六岁的范长江,就以这本书为标志,进入了中国名记者的行列。
In 1935 the next year, Tianjin, “Ta Kung Pao,” one after another published a correspondent correspondent travel newsletter. These reports, coming from the darkest Northwest, have aroused great repercussions throughout the country. At one time people’s eyes were on “the northwestern corner of China”: the Red Army, the Long March, the dark warlord rule, the irksome people’s life and the Japanese ambassador’s wild ambition. With the publication of an article in the newsletter, the mysterious Great Northwest of the motherland was displayed in front of people. What followed came a name of “the Yangtze River” which aroused the world’s attention. When these communications were assembled and published in the name of “The Northwestern corner of China,” seven editions were printed in a matter of a few months. Fan Changjiang, who is only 26 years old, took the book as a symbol and entered the ranks of Chinese journalists.
