The mystery of the rise and fall of Easter Island civilization has always plagued academic circles. When the Dutch explorer Rockin “discovered” it in 1772, the island was desolate, with only 47 species of plants, mostly dwarf trees and shrubs, with few animals other than insects. Explorers also found that the aboriginal man-made craft on the island is outdated, with only a few canoes, not far. And the closest neighbor to it - the inhabited Peter Cairn Island is 2,240 kilometers away, and the nearest mainland, South America, is 3,200 kilometers. So for hundreds of years one can not but ask: How did the island’s people come from? The weirdest thing is that the island’s more than 200 huge stone sculptures (in addition to more than 700 still to be completed) are being abandoned everywhere, Strike like. Stone carving weighs 82 tons. How can they be transported, erected, and later destroyed without the use of haulage or even cattle? Therefore, some even suspect that it is a remnant left by aliens.
