1981年11月6日至12日在长沙召开了中国地质学会第一届全国矿物学学术大会,来自全国各地、中国科学院、地质部、冶金部、教育部、二机部、建材部、化工部、煤炭部、石油部、国家海洋局及地震局、基建工程兵等系统的科研院所、大专院校、地质队以及中国科协与新闻出版单位的代表共计300多人参加了大会。大会收到科学论文677篇,约宣读了250篇。这次盛会规模大,代表多,内容所涉及的深度和广度,在我国矿物学发展史上都是空前的.
From November 6 to November 12, 1981, the first session of the National Mineralogy Academic Conference of China Geological Society was held in Changsha from November 6 to November 12, 1981, from all over the country, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Department of Geology, the Ministry of Metallurgy, the Ministry of Education, the Second Machine Building Department, the Ministry of Chemical Industry More than 300 representatives from scientific research institutes, universities and colleges, geological teams and representatives from China Association for Science and Technology and Press and Publication attended the conference, including the Ministry of Coal Industry, the Ministry of Oil Industry, the State Oceanic Administration, the Seismological Bureau and the Infrastructure Corps of Engineers.
