2003年4月9日,著名学者、戏剧家吴祖先先生在北京病逝,享年86岁。作为一代戏剧名家,他的代表作品《风雪夜归人》、《牛郎织女》、《三打陶三春》等剧作深受人们喜爱,他编导的平剧电影《花为媒》更是家喻户晓。应当说,吴祖光为中国戏剧的发展作出了突出贡献。不仅如此,吴老令人肃然赶敬的还有他那刚直不阿、敢讲真话的品格,人们称他“正气老头吴祖光”,这是多么的难能可贵。也许读者能够通过这篇《人生道路如征战》,对吴老的一生有更深刻的了解。
On April 9, 2003, Mr. Wu Zuxian, a famous scholar and dramatist, died in Beijing at the age of 86. As a famous mastermind, his dramas like “The Return of the Snow and the Night,” “The Cowherd and the Weaver,” and the “Three Kinds of Taosen Spring” are popular among the audience. The director of his Ping Hua film “Flower for the Media” is widely known. It should be said that Wu Zuguang made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese drama. Not only that, Wu laments the respectable but also his upright, daring to tell the truth of the character, people call him “righteousness old man Wu Zuguang”, this is how commendable.
