黄文翔别号黄山,安徽芜湖人,1929年生,中国现代派画家。上海美术家协会会员,国际中国美术家协会会员、国际中国书法家会员、美国中国美术协会会员、现代民族书法艺术协会副主席、原美国中华书画家学会理事。早年受徽派影响,后师从黄宾虹、刘海粟、王个簃等著名国画大师,并进修于浙江美术学院。1988年定居美国,长期致力于中美文化交流与发展。1999年应邀参加云南世博会展出。2004年应文化部邀请,随团赴法国巴黎参加法中文化节。曾荣获文化部、中国文联嘉奖,并授予世界华人艺术家称号。
Huang Wenxiang nickname Huangshan, Anhui Wuhu, born in 1929, Chinese modernist painter. Shanghai Artists Association, a member of the International Chinese Artists Association, an international Chinese calligrapher, a member of the American Chinese Art Association, a vice chairman of the Contemporary National Calligraphy Association, and a former director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association of the United States. Influenced by the Huizhou school in his early years, he studied under the famous Chinese painting masters such as Huang Binhong, Liu Haisu and Wang Gechi and studied at Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. In 1988 settled in the United States, long-term commitment to Sino-American cultural exchanges and development. In 1999 was invited to participate in the Yunnan World Expo display. In 2004 at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, accompanied by delegation to Paris, France to participate in the festival of French culture. Has won the Ministry of Culture, China Federation of literary awards, and awarded the title of world Chinese artists.
