Over the years, lacquer ware on the auction market has always been a small item relative to china and jade. Miscellaneous experts Xia told reporters from the start up, lacquer rare sclerosis makes people lack the opportunity to understand it. As lacquer production process is complex, long production cycle, especially the carving, production takes seven or eight months time. And the lacquer can only be painted once a day, when painting on a dry or semi-dry paint can continue. Such a complicated and lengthy production process determines that lacquer ware can not be mass-produced like porcelain or jade, that the number of pieces produced is small, and that the quantity of articles handed down is relatively small.
