本文采用问卷调查和访谈的方式,对比调查西北五省区(陕西、青海、宁夏、甘肃、新疆)16所高校外语教师和非外语教师的职业发展现状,包括基本状况、学位职称、教学、科研、自我发展等五个维度,旨在了解两个不同群体的发展状况和职业需求,比较其存在的差异。最后,针对调查中所反映的问题,提出三点建议:外语教师的学历亟待提升;外语教师的科研能力有待加强;给予外语教师职业发展的大环境和小环境的支持。
This paper uses questionnaires and interviews to compare the professional development status of 16 foreign language teachers and non-native language teachers in five universities and colleges in Northwest China (Shaanxi, Qinghai, Ningxia, Gansu and Xinjiang), including the basic status, degree, teaching, research , Self-development and other five dimensions, aimed at understanding the development of two different groups and occupational needs, compared to their differences. Finally, I put forward three suggestions according to the problems reflected in the survey: the qualifications of foreign language teachers need to be improved urgently; the research capabilities of foreign language teachers need to be strengthened; and the support given to the professional environment and small environment of foreign language teachers should be strengthened.
