辽金城坦博物馆位于北京市丰台区右安门外玉林小区凉水河以北50m 处。1990年在该处建住宅楼时发现了金中都的南城坦水关遗址,被评为当年全国十大考古发现之一。1991年市政府决定在该处建造博物馆予以保护和展览。1995年被列为全国重点文物保护单位并对外开放。辽金城坦博物馆是地下遗址与历史陈列相结合的考古专业性博物馆,它以距今840余年前的金中都南城坦水关遗址为基础进行建筑的。博物馆外形象一座巍峨的古代城堡。建筑面积2500m~2,地上一层,地下一层。地下部分是目前我国体量最大的古代都城水关遗址,是研究我国古代建筑和水利设施的重要实例。
Liao Jincheng Tan Museum is located in Fengtai District of Beijing right outside the door Yulin area 50 meters north of Liangshui River. When it was built there in 1990, the ruins of the South City Tan Shui Guan site were discovered in Jinzhong, being named as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country. In 1991 the city government decided to build a museum there to protect and exhibit. 1995 was listed as a national key cultural relics protection units and open to the public. Liao Jincheng Tan Museum is an underground archeology and historical display of a combination of archeology museum, it is more than 840 years ago Jinzhong Nancheng Tanshui Guan ruins built. The museum looks like a towering ancient castle. Construction area of 2500m ~ 2, the ground floor, basement. The underground part is currently China’s largest body of ancient capital Shui Guan ruins, is an important example of China’s ancient buildings and water conservancy facilities.
