Objective To elucidate whether the simultaneous presence of electromagnetic waves in an environment can have an impact on the cardiac electrical activity and peripheral blood cells of adolescents. Methods 106 cases of adolescent electrocardiogram and blood routine were examined by electrocardiograph and automatic blood cell counting. Results There was no significant difference in heart rate, PR interval, QRS time, QT interval, hemoglobin content and platelet count between high background electromagnetic radiation group and low background electromagnetic radiation group. The total number of peripheral white blood cells was significantly lower Low background ambient electromagnetic radiation group (P <005). From the classification of peripheral blood leukocytes, the number of peripheral blood mononuclear cells and the number of male peripheral blood eosinophils in the high background electromagnetic radiation group were significantly higher than those in the low background electromagnetic radiation group (P <005). Conclusion The current environment of the metropolitan electromagnetic radiation on the adolescents (14-18 years of age) had no significant effect on ECG, peripheral blood leucocytes may have some impact, mainly in the total number of peripheral white blood cells decreased monocytes and eosinophils The relative increase in quantity deserves further study.
