去年是我国明代伟大的戏剧家汤显祖逝世370周年。文化部、中国剧协、中国艺术研究院、江西省文化厅于去年11月20日至26日在北京联合举办了纪念活动周。汤显祖(1550-1616)一生坎坷不平,为人真诚坦荡,刚正不阿,是一位伟大的戏剧家,也是一位站在时代前列的进步思想家。但极端腐朽的封建社会却没有他的立足之处,迫使他把全部精力投入写作,为后人留下了大量的诗文赋等。汤显祖的作品中的进步
Last year was the 370th anniversary of the death of Tang Xianzu, a great dramatist of the Ming Dynasty in China. The Ministry of Culture, the Chinese Opera Association, the China Academy of Art, and the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture jointly held a commemorative week in Beijing from November 20 to 26 last year.
