A new relationship based on the Mcketta and Wehe curves is proposed for the calculation of lean and sulphurous water contents commonly found in gas pipelines and conditioning equipment and also for the calculation of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide commonly found in the natural gas industry Low concentrations of sulfur-containing gas water content. The deviations of the water content calculated from the different methods (including the new relation) from the experimentally obtained water content were compared. The calculated natural gas water content from the Behr and new relationships using the Mcketta and Wehe data was also compared. The relationship is analytic, with a total average error of ± 4.5%.
