对５０例间歇性外斜视儿童进行了术前双眼视觉检查，发现大部分患儿具有完好健全的双眼视觉。但因检查手段不同，可影响客观反映评价间歇性外斜视的双眼视觉功能。为巩固、改善其双眼视觉，手术应在间歇性外斜视不能控制正位，双眼视觉功能开始恶化之早期进行
