现代庸俗唯物主义是指世纪之交中国文化领域中那些“特异功能”、“人体科学”的信奉者 ,这些人把哲学上的意识范畴等同于某种形式的物质运动 ,并把这些信条同中国传统文化中的某些消极因素糅合起来 ,导致泛灵论、神秘主义和唯意志论。从认识根源上讲 ,现代庸俗唯物主义和经典科学所孕育的机械主义、还原论思维方式有一定的联系 ,坚持马克思主义意识论对还原论的全面超越是抵制庸俗唯物主义的有力武器。现代科学 ,特别是脑科学、系统科学的理论和事实说明 ,现代庸俗唯物主义的前提和结论都是错误的
Modern vulgar materialism refers to those “special-function” and “human sciences” worshipers in the field of Chinese culture at the turn of the century who have equated the categories of philosophical consciousness with some form of material movement and put these creed in line with China Some of the negative elements of traditional culture are combined to give rise to animism, mysticism, and voluntarism. From the perspective of cognition, modern mechanistic materialism and classical science have some connection with mechanicalism and reductionist thinking. It is a powerful weapon to resist vulgar materialism that upholding Marxism’s comprehensive surpassing of reductionism is a resistance to vulgar materialism. The theories and facts of modern science, especially brain science and system science, show that the premises and conclusions of modern vulgar materialism are all wrong
