在新世纪钟声即将敲晌之际,昆明铁路局昆明客运段61/62次车队,提出了“跨世纪的人开跨世纪的车”的口号。他们与人为本,严格管理,多元化服务,千方百计为乘客服务好,努力使车厢成为深受旅客满意的“乘客之家”。在他们的努力下,该车队1996年荣获“全国铁路进京、进沪、进穗社会主义劳动竞赛第一名”光荣称号;1998年荣获“铁路红旗列车”光荣称号以及“全国铁路示范列车”荣誉称号;1999年9月16日,他们又光荣地获得了“全国铁路示范点列车称号”。成为铁路战线上一只凌空翱翔的雄鹰。
