The implementation of the development strategy along the Yangtze River is a major policy decision made by Jiangsu provincial party committee and government. The article reviews and summarizes the major achievements made in the ten years since the development of Nantong along the Yangtze River and the main gaps in existence, and puts forward some countermeasures and proposals for deepening the development of Nantong along the Yangtze River.
