何家产将军是原福州军区参谋长。1931年2月参加中国工农红军。1933年6月由团转党。历任宣传员、技术书记、政治指导员、教导员、营长、团长、副师长、师长兼政委、军分区司令员兼地委书记、副军长、南疆军区司令员、新疆部队前指司令员、新疆部队司令部副参谋长、福州部队参谋长等职。参加过土地革命战争、抗日战争、解放战争、建国初期边疆的剿匪斗争和中印边境自卫还击战。1961年晋升少将军衔。1935年11月,何家产将军随所在的红六军团参加了长征。在红军长征胜利70周年前夕,将军的夫人傅兆南首次披露了将军在长征中的一段经历。
