昆明彩印厂建厂于1965年,三十多年来,该厂走过了一条自强不息、奋力拼搏,曲折坎坷的道路,创造了各个时期不同的业绩。近年来,企业在厂领导的带领下,始终坚持“用户是帝王,质量是生命,效益是目的”的经营方针,经过一系列的设备技术、工艺技术的改造,人员技术培训,内部管理的加强,使产品质量得到不断的提高和稳定,目前已形成了集平、凸、凹、柔、丝、磁卡、票证多种印刷方式为一体的大二型企业。 质量是生命,质量是一个企业最有说服力的形象。1997年工厂根据市场竞争形势,为进一步满足顾客需要、提高产品质量,开展了贯彻ISO9002国际质量体系工作,并于1998年5月取得了ISO9002国际质量体系的认证。该厂曾有100多个产品在同行业中获全国、西南大区、省市各项奖,为包装彩印的发展做出了贡献。
