5月15日市委、市政府在天津礼堂召开天津市科学技术普及工作会议。这是本市第一次由市委和市政府召开的科普工作会议。会议的主要任务是,动员全社会力量,大力普及科学技术,努力开创本市科普工作新局面,加快实施科教兴市战略。 市委副书记李建国出席会议并讲话。市委常委、副市长曲维枝主持会议。市人大常委会副主任钱其礅,市政协副主席李长兴,陆焕生等出席了会议。 会议首先传达了全国科普工作会议精神,回顾总结了本市开展科普工作的成绩,提出了“九五”期间本市科普工作的基本目标、任务和措施。
May 15 Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government held Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Popularization Work Conference in Tianjin Auditorium. This is the first time this city has been held by the municipal government and the popular science work conference. The main task of the conference is to mobilize all social forces, vigorously popularize science and technology, work hard to create a new situation in the city's science popularization work, and speed up the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the city through science and education.
