四川省农业科学院原子能农业应用研究所于1979年研制建成与国外开放式γ田不同的半封闭式新型γ圃。1983年通过鉴定,1984年获农牧渔业部技术改进一等奖。几年来已为四川省几十家育种和科研单位照射各种农作物和果木十多种。油菜、大豆、水稻、小麦等已诱变选育出一些新品种(系)和有利用价值的突变体。大部分诱变材料正在选育过程中。

In recent years dozens of breeding and scientific research units in Sichuan Province have irradiated a variety of crops and fruit trees more than 10 kinds. Rapeseed, soybean, rice, wheat, etc. have been mutated to breed some new varieties (lines) and have utility value of mutants. Most mutagenic materials are in the process of breeding.
