傅德威同志是著名的京剧武生演员和戏曲教师,生于1916年,十四岁时入中华戏曲学校头班学京剧,先习老生,后改武生,从陈少五、沈三玉、丁永利、程永龙、诸连顺、钱富川诸老师学戏;又先后拜杨小楼、尚和玉为师,能戏甚多,如《状元印》、《艳阳楼》、《林冲夜奔》、《一箭仇》;尤以《铁笼山》、《四平山》、《挑华车》、《战滁州》等长靠戏擅长。他所塑造的姜维、李元霸、高宠、常遇春等舞台艺术形像,集杨、尚二家之精萃,讲求功架健美凝重,展现人物性格神情,深为广大观众所赞赏。1955年正当他年富力强之时,出于对戏曲教育事业的热爱,毅然放弃舞台生活,来我校任教;二十余年来,勤勤恳恳从事教学工作,以培养京剧艺术新人为己任。现今年届桑榆,仍孜孜不倦,坚守在教学岗位上,深为学生所爱戴和尊敬。他为培养新一代京剧武生演员,作出了显著贡献。他的学生们现正活跃在舞台上或戏曲教育第一线。不久前,我们为他记录了他论述学、演、教长靠武生戏的一些艺术见解和教学方法,兹交《戏曲艺术》发表。
Comrade Fu Dewei is a famous Peking opera martial artist and opera teacher. He was born in 1916 and was the first to study Peking Opera at the age of 14 when he was a Chinese opera school. The Lianshun, Qianfuchuan teachers play; and has praised Yang Xiaolou, Shang Heyu as a teacher, can play many, such as “champion”, “Yan Yang House”, “Lin Chong night run”, “revenge”; In particular, “Iron Mountain”, “Siping Mountain”, “pick the car”, “war Chuzhou” and other long play good. Jiang Wei, Li Yuanba, Gao Chong, Chang Yuchun and other stage art images he has created are the essence of the two sets of Yang and Shang. They emphasize the beauty of the frame, reveal the character’s character, and are deeply admired by the audience. In 1955, just as he was in primeval stage, out of his passion for drama education, he decided to give up his stage life and teach at our school. For more than 20 years, he has been teaching hardworking and cultivating new talents in Beijing opera. Sangyu now this year, still tireless, stick to teaching positions, deep love and respect for students. He made a significant contribution to cultivating a new generation of Peking Opera actors. His students are now active on the stage or drama education. Not long ago, we recorded for him some of his artistic opinions and teaching methods that dealt with learning, acting and relying upon the Wakan Theater. We hereby present “The Art of Opera” for publication.
