The famous American novelist Herman Melville’s novel “Moby Dick” describes the soul-stirring fight between Mobil and the beluga whale. The last boat was overthrown by the beluga and was swallowed up by the sea. And his short story masterpiece, “Bartby, the Secretary,” describes a lonely, dumb, eccentric personality, and finally was the community devoured Bartby. In most of the figures, the two works adopt the method of constructing the static persona. This unique method has given the author and his work an irreplaceable position in the history of literature.
