沈阳,古称盛京,是东北地区最大的国际大都市,东北地区政治,金融,文化,交通,信息和旅游中心。同时也是我国最重要的重工业基地之一,被誉为共和国长子,素有“东方鲁尔”的美誉。2010年4月,沈阳经济区获国务院批准为国家新型工业化综合配套改革试验区,是中国第八个国家综合配套改革试验区,标志着沈阳经济区建设上升为国家战略。沈阳位于环渤海经济圈(我国第三大经济圈)之内,是环渤海地区与东北地区的重要结合部。
Shenyang, the ancient name of Shengjing, is the largest international metropolis in northeast China, the northeastern region political, financial, cultural, transportation, information and tourism center. It is also one of the most important heavy industry bases in China. It is reputed as the eldest son of the Republic and known as the “Oriental Ruhr”. In April 2010, Shenyang Economic Zone was approved by the State Council as a pilot zone for the comprehensive reform of national new industrialization. It is also the eighth national comprehensive reform pilot zone in China, marking the rise of Shenyang Economic Zone as a national strategy. Shenyang is located within the Bohai Rim Economic Circle (the third largest economic circle in China) and an important combination of the Bohai Rim region and the northeast region.
