宗白华先生在长期的美学研究中,始终坚持对中国传统美学要不断发现与重省,对中西美学要进行沟通与融合,在广泛深刻的文化背景下形成中西两脉整合思想。宗先生的两脉整合思想一方面对传统美学进行现代诠释,利于其现代发展;另一方面又在中国美学的基础上吸收西方美学的经验和教训,为我们现在思考中国美学从传统向现代的转换提供了一个相当有意义的视角。
