前言葛洲坝水利枢纽第一期工程主要建筑物的分布区内,由于地形平缓,基岩多被第四系覆盖,基础下的地质现象,只能靠钻孔揭露。在多年的小钻孔勘探中,未发现一条断层。施工初期,通过施工开挖和配合大口径(直径100厘米)钻孔的补充勘探,才发现了20余条断层;在施工地质编录中见到断层90多条(图1)。其中约10%是大口径钻孔发现的,其它都是施工开挖揭露的。
Introduction Gezhouba Hydropower Station Phase I of the main buildings within the distribution area, due to the gentle terrain, bedrock mostly covered by the Quaternary, the underlying geological phenomena, can only be exposed by drilling. In many years of small borehole exploration, no fault was found. In the early stage of construction, more than 20 faults were discovered through excavation of construction and complementary exploration with large diameter (100 cm diameter) boreholes. More than 90 faults were found in the construction geological catalog (Figure 1). Approximately 10% of these were found by large-diameter boreholes, others were uncovered by construction excavation.
