This paper reports the effect of dehydration dormancy on the viability of B. bassiana BJ strain. A new type of dehydrating agent was used in the experiment. The results showed that after the resuscitation of the dehydrated dormant nematode, the invader rate to the wax worm was 8.2%, which was significantly higher than that of the non-dehydrated dormant nematode (5.1%). The ability of high temperature resistance is also high. In the environment of 35 ℃, the survival rate of nematodes dormancy after 5 hours of dehydration is 88.5%, while that of non-dehydrated dormant nematodes is 15.9%. The dehydration dormancy nematodes also had higher anti-drying ability than the non-dehydration dormant nematodes. The survival rate of dehydrated dormant nematodes was 95.9% and that of non-dehydrated dormant nematodes was 7 hours at 27 ℃ and relative humidity of 59%. The developmental duration of the dehydrated dormant nematode in the wax borer was the same as that of the non-dehydrated dormant nematode, indicating that dehydration dormancy had no adverse effects on the development and reproduction of the nematode.
