众所周知，电梯是高层建筑中垂直上下的交通工具，其平面布置一般都敞开在走道或电梯厅。火灾发生时，普通电梯会因断电和不具备防烟功能而停止使用，此时楼梯则成为垂直疏散的主要设施。如不设消防电梯，消防队员将近不得不爬梯登高，不仅时间长、耗体力、误战机，而且救援人员与疏散人流反向拥挤，既不利于开展救助，也易酿成不应有的事故。因此在高层建筑中设置消防电梯是十分必要的。笔者就消防电梯在检查中应注意的几个问题供大家共同探讨。
