现代大功率机车具有很大的牵引力和制动力,可惜在干燥的钢轨上也只能得到部分利用。借助与铁路自动化系统SIBAS—16结合为一体的防滑—防空转系统,能把粘着牵引力利用到物理学上的极限值。最佳的粘着力利用,并不意味着不顾其它,单纯地追求达到物理学的极限,而是需要在粘着力的充分利用、动力传动部件的保护和轮—轨磨损之间作出经济合理的折衷。当然还要优先考虑乘车舒适性、运行安全性和降低噪声等问题。
