我厂是专业铸造厂,以生产机床铸件为主。生产方面基本上沿袭传统造型方法——劈箱造型。用这种造型方法生产大而复杂的机床铸件,如床身、立柱等铸件造型、下芯、配箱、检查方便,尺寸精度高,同时简化模型制做,减轻行车负荷,也有利于平行作业和机械化生产;缺点是投产前的工艺装备及模型制做工作量大,木材消耗量较大,砂箱通用性低。我厂劈模造型分为双面劈模和单面劈模两种,有些铸件由于本身结构和工装制造困难等因素只可以采用单面劈模造型。单面劈模需要做一只整体外模,木材消耗量大,同时撞箱圈时,操作上比较麻烦,质量上也不容易保证。为了提高铸件表面质量,同时减少撞箱圈时撞砂面和改善撞砂条件,我们在传统的单面劈模造
