朱路多年来不趋名利,潜心痴情于自己的绘画研究创作,厚积薄发,孜孜探求。其作品发乎于心,大拙厚朴,超然象外。犹以画梅之作,巧拙兼用,苍润并存,老梅饱经沧桑不畏强寒、争奇斗艳永不屈服的坚贞品格跃然纸上,观之憾人心魄,不由得使人为之折服倾倒。其所画梅花不是现实所见之梅,应是画家胸中之梅,是其铮铮铁骨人格风范的真实写照。有诗赞曰:枯笔焦墨绘铁骨,万点润色画红梅;古今多少丹青手,惟有朱生创大风。
