大学英语作为大多数高校学生的必修课程和基础课程,其自身的特点决定了情感因素在大学英语教学中的重要作用。不论是学习者的个人因素还是学习者之间以及学习者与教师之间的情感因素,都会对大学英语的学习效果及教学质量产生积极或消极的影响。要增强情感因素在大学英语教学中的积极作用,就要侧重从学生学习动机、自信心、师生关系等方面入手,让师生在更多良好的情感体验中,实现认知和情感的统一,促进大学英语教学。
