库车是龟兹古国故地。库车是南疆重镇。库车是今日石化新城。近几年,库车以石化工业为代表的县域经济引人注目,以龟兹乐舞为代表的文化建设大放异彩,库车正以新的形象在南疆北部迅速崛起,魅力四射。当然,与这一切相关的还有这里的“平安库车”建设。库车又是维稳工作的重点地区,敌社情历来十分复杂。近几年以来,库车县坚持重心下移,强化基层基础建设,精心打造“平安库车”,为库车经济文化的繁荣发展提供了坚实的保障。
