中国科技人员最近完成一批敦煌莫高窟环境及壁画保护研究的技术课题,为莫高窟珍贵文物系统保护提供了重要依据.这些技术课题包括:敦煌壁画的病害的环境因素及防治的对策,莫高唐小气候初步观测,光监控带在莫高窟的应用,敦煌壁画颜料变色原因及影响因素的研究,莫高窟窟内异味气体成份初步剖析及治理对策,莫高窟霉变壁画霉菌菌种的分离鉴定等.历终千余年大自然和人为的破坏,莫高窟壁画产生了大面积的龟裂、起甲、剥落、酥碱、发霉、变色和褪色等病害.
