作为一种创造性的活动,设计兼有了科学与艺术的双重面貌,设计教育所培养的人才,也需要从这两方面的思维训练入手。对于深入理解设计含义的人而言,这是一种常识,然而设计教育并不因此而一路顺畅。事实上,发展时间并不很长的中国设计教育,其所经历的坎坷有目共睹。而在新时代的发展过程中,设计与技术一道,成为世界规模的商品竞争成败的关键,已成为客观的事实。为了迎接新世纪的挑战,世界各国都在进行着不同程度的变革,欧美、日本等国的设计教育也在进行新的改革探索,这种外来因素值得重视。
As a creative activity, the design combines the dual facets of science and art. The talents trained by design education also need to start from these two aspects of thinking training. This is a common sense for those who have a deep understanding of the meaning of design, but design education does not go all the way. In fact, the bumpy experience China has seen in design education, which has not taken a long time to develop. In the development of the new era, design and technology have become the key to the success or failure of the world-wide commodity competition and have become objective facts. In order to meet the challenges of the new century, various countries in the world are carrying out changes in varying degrees. Design education in Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries is also undertaking new reforms and exploration. This external factor deserves our attention.
