Prostaglandin catabolism generally begins with 15-OH prostaglandin dehydrogenase (PGDH) and? 13-prostaglandin reductase. Prostaglandins have been found to change each other in some tissues. In this paper, we investigated the catabolism of PGF 2α in ovarian homogenates in vitro and compared with uterine homogenates. Materials and Methods: Female rats weighing about 200g. Estrus is determined by daily vaginal smear.
