The composite ion polymer emulsion drilling and completion fluid system with the dual functions of stable wellbore and protective reservoir has been developed and applied. The results of laboratory tests show that this system has excellent ability of inhibiting, carrying capacity of rocks and protecting oil reservoir ability, and can successfully solve the problems of horizontal well drilling tools sticking cards and cuttings bed. Practice has shown that the average diameter expansion of Suping 1 well bore rate was 3.9%, wellbore instability time is zero, the actual drilling fluid costs lower than the design 53.8%, significant technical and economic benefits
