蟒河污染严重,某些指标达到地面V类水质标准。为探讨其是否对儿童造成危害,本文对该河沿岸驾部等几个村庄的173名10岁儿童进行了四项生长发育指标的测量,并用同样方法以距蟒河20公里外的程封等村142名同龄儿童作为对照。结果①男生的身高、体重、肺活量,两区(污染区和对照区)无显著性差异;污染区男生的胸围61±3.5cm,对照区男生的胸围67±7.2cm,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。②污染区女生的胸围、身高、体重三项指标均明显低于对照区(P<0.05);仅肺活量两区天显著性差异。提示:蟒河污染对儿童生长发育已带来不利影响。
