自去年复排消息传出,粤剧传统例戏《香花山大贺寿》就受到广大粤剧爱好者的关注,当日中山纪念堂的演出吸引了大量广州戏迷前来观看。《香花山大贺寿》戏名基本上就概括了整出戏的故事,主要讲述了八仙、龙王、仙女和孙悟空等给观音祝寿以及观音变相的情境,故事性较弱,属于歌舞类的表演。作为粤剧传统例戏之一,《香花山大贺寿》中大量的程式化歌舞表演无疑是在表达一种喜庆的情绪。仙女、八仙、龙王、圣母、孙悟空和猴
