最近,一个名叫“郊野公园”的名词,越来越频繁地进入了我们的视野:我国众多城市都已制订了批量兴建郊野公园的计划,譬如北京市,不久前高调宣布新建成的19座郊野公园已对公众开放,另14处郊野公园已开始前期建设准备,最终目标是建成102座郊野公园;又如上海,有报章消息说上海有关方面已有了“把郊区上百座林地都建成郊野公园”的计划。查“郊野公园”之词出自近代,一般认为是英国首创;但“郊野公园”脱胎自郊野园林,而郊野园林无疑是中国古代人民的发明——举世园艺
